Joshua Tree National Park Nov 18th thru 22nd 2024

This was our first time to visit Joshua Tree I have heard so many people talk about it that I had to go check it out. It was defiantly worth the trip. really didn’t do enough planning on moon phase and Milky Way presence. So have another trip planned and totally researched. Can’t wait.

This image is Juniper Tree & Spire Rock aka Penguin Rock. Not sure how that name came about but its a very unique sight.

I have to say getting up real early and staying up late into the night are some of the most rewarding things to do in Joshua Tree.

The night skies are very over whelming. I can’t wait to return to Joshua Tree when there is a new moon or No moon. The night skies were very full with stars when there was plenty of light present. Could you image the night skies with no moon it would be insane.
